Hospital, do you have a room for rent?

So last night I was sitting in the bedroom watching TV with Alex and eating a late dinner when all of a sudden a huge pain came over me. Identical to the pain that I had when we went to Christiansburg. The pain all of those brilliant doctor's told me was indigestion and Aubrey pushing up on me. Well, it was in fact none of those things!

The pain was so intense and did not go away that I actually had to go to the hospital in an ambulance. I needed oxygen because I could not catch my breath and it was terrifying! I kept thinking, "This can't happen! I can't be dying. It's not fair. I just had a baby!"

The paramedics if you can call them that were so rude and unprofessional they actually made me walk out to the ambulance in my flip flops and pajamas. The paramedic that was in the ambulance with me was so rude that once I caught my breath we actually got into a verbal fight. I was in so much pain I could not talk at first and he kept asking me stupid questions which he then kept repeating. I finally told him that he had already asked me these and I did not want to answer anymore. He said I had an attitude and I told him if he wanted to see an attitude I would give him one and him being a dick would not help matters. If I hadn't been in so much pain, I probably would have punched him.

We finally got to the hospital and Alex was already there from driving himself. By then the pain had gone down a little but was still there. It took them forever to give me pain meds but I finally got them and it felt wonderful!

They then sent me for an ultrasound where they discovered, as Alex's grandmother had once suggested, it was my GALLBLADDER!! Ha ha, my fucking gallbladder! And after those idiots had sad it wasn't. That it was Aubrey. So now I have to see a surgeon to talk about whether or not it should come out.

Some photos of my little girl

Alex is at work so I decided to take some pictures of Aubrey to use for her birth announcement photo's. The lighting in the room was perfect and I got some good shots. She started to get a little fussy so we had to stop but I am pretty satisfied with the pictures I have.

I am really just starting out with photography as a hobby so they are not the greatest in the world but pretty good I might add for one of my firsts.

This was my favorite!!

 She's like a little ballerina.

I don't like this bath you speak of!

Aubrey had her first official bath today! We have been giving her baths by basically wiping her down in the sink with a wash cloth and some baby soap but tonight she went into the baby tub.

At first she seemed a little concerned as if she was wondering where she was and what was going on but after a little bit she was used to it.

Hmm. I don't know about this.

Ahhh, now I'm good.

With daddy.

So snuggly warm.

She looks so different in this picture.

Meet the Grandparents

Aubrey met her grandparents and uncle today for the first time! They saw her at the hospital when she was first born but that was for a brief second while Alex was holding her. The hospital I delivered at was very rude and didn't really let anyone see her that first day.

I made lasagna and we had chocolate pie for dessert. I wish I had pictures to post but for once in my life I did not really take any. I guess it's because my stitches were hurting and I did not feel very much like a photo shoot.

I did snap a picture of the dress she wore though.

In her "party" dress from her Aunt Holly.

Aubrey and Ireland meet

Aubrey is officially a week old and met her cousin Ireland for the first time today as well as her Aunt Sabrina and future Uncle Mark! It was a good day and even started to flurry. We were all pretty excited because we have not had much of a winter this year. It's basically been like a chilly fall the whole winter.

The snow started to fall really hard and then the wind picked up. It was like something out of a movies and then it suddenly just stopped. I wish I could have gotten a picture.

They meet!

With her Great-Mema.

Going home.

Relaxing at home after a long baby day.

Tomorrow Aubrey meets her daddy's parents and her daddy's brother for the first time.
